In 2006 Novomoskovsky Azot Increased Urea Output by 16.7%
OREANDA-NEWS. In 2006, “Novomoskovsky Azot” affiliated with EuroChem Mineral and Chemical Company produced 1.526 million tons of ammonia that slightly overlaps (by 0.5 %) the production volumes achieved in 2005, when the output growth due to the large-scale reconstruction of all the ammonia plant rose by more than 25 % in comparison with the figures of 2004.
Owing to the ammonia output growth and step-by-step updating of the urea workshop equipment, the urea production has increased by 16.7 % as compared to the last year’s figures and amounted to 848.6 thousand tons.
778.5 thousand tons (converting to 100 % nutrients content) of mineral fertilizers was produced, the growth amounted to 4.4 % against the 2005 volumes.
The total methanol output achieved the level of 426.76 thousand tons, which exceed the last year’s result by 12.1 %.
