OREANDA-NEWS. Rostechnadzor approved decision of the public environmental examination body which is declared the project of the water passage of main pipeline through the Angara River (reserve line, II option) at section of 273,1 –313 km of East Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline meets requirements of the RF Law in the environmental sphere.

According to press release of the federal service, Rostechnadzor considered the working project of the underwater passage through Ust-Ilimsk water storage (reserve line, II option) at section of 457,3-460,4 km of East Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline environmentally practicable.

Under conclusions of experts’ commission the project was elaborated in accordance with requirement of the RF Law in the sphere of environmental safety. Environmental impact is allowable and implementation of the project is possible.
