OREANDA-NEWS. SIBUR Investment committee has approved the upgrade project of the first construction stage of Yuzhno-Balyksky gas processing plant. The project stipulates an increase in APG receiving and refining capacity from 0,92 billion cubic meters up to 1,5 billion cubic meters per year.

Construction and assembly work will start within the coming months. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2007.
 
Moreover, development of project documentation for the second stage of Yuzhno-Balyksky GPP construction is about to complete. The implementation of this project is planned during 2008-2009 and will allow reaching annual refining capacity of associated petroleum gas up to 3 billion cubic meters.
