OREANDA-NEWS. Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”) [(RTS: KUBN, KUBNP; МICEX: UTEL, UTELP; ADR OTC: STJSY, KUE FRA)], the principal telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District, reports that on 26th January 2007 its Board of Directors changed the numerical composition of UTK’s Management Board from 7 to 8 members.

The Board appointed Arkady Arkadievich Samoilov, Deputy Director General –Commercial Director of "UTK" PJSC as a member of the Management Board.
