OREANDA-NEWS. The economy of Belarus can handle the increased prices for energy carriers due to the saved up potential in 2006, Deputy Minister of Economy Andrey Tur considers.

He recognized that this year "will be very uneasy" for the republic, BELTA informed. It is necessary for subjects of economy to make precise calculations and to bring them into accord with normative costs, which are required for conducting effective manufacture.

At the same time, the increase of prices for housing-and-municipal services remains in the planned limits - no more than by $5-6 in equivalent a year.
