OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Rostelecom”, the Russian national operator of distant communication, has signed the agreement on direct inter-operator interaction with one of the largest Italian telecommunication companies WIND Telecomunicazioni S.p. A.

The signed agreement provides for bilateral exchange of the voice traffic between Italian and Russian operators.

For the time being, “Rostelecom” possesses high-speed outputs to the Europe, Asia and America with points of presence at London, Stockholm, Helsinki, New York, Frankfurt and Hong Kong. Owing to the developed system of access to points of presence in the Europe, Rostelecom has organized direct connection with a network of the company WIND via its Frankfurt office.
