OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Aeroflot – Russian airline” has increased its share in the subsidiary OJSC “Aeroflot-Don” from 51 - to 100% as a result of acquisition of 49% of OSJC “Aeroflot-Don” shares from CJSC “Investitsionnaya Finansovaya Kompaniya “OPT INVEST”.

OJSC “Aeroflot-Don” is a 100% subsidiary of OJSC “Aeroflot” based in Rostov-on-Don. The largest air company in the south of Russia. It has both scheduled and charter flights to cities in Russia, the CIS countries and abroad.

According to preliminary data the company carried 600 thous. passengers in 2006 and the passenger turnover made 900 mln. ton-km. Its fleet has 15 aircrafts including B737-500, Tu-154.
