OREANDA-NEWS. Norwegian telecommunication group Telenor informed that the user's base of Ukrainian mobile operator Kievstar controlled by it has increased by 2,4 million in December 2006.

Telenor owns 56,5% stake of Kievstar, the rest share falls at Russian Alfa-Group.

The quantity of subscribers of Kievstar makes 21,5 million, in the fourth quarter growth of quantity of subscribers has made 3,8 million.

Telenor will present its quarter and annual results on February 15.
