OREANDA-NEWS. Sales of German company Beiersdorf increased in 2006 by 7,2%, having exceeded own forecast of the company, Reuter informed.

Sales increased up to 5,12 billion euro ($6,7 billion) in nominal expression from 4,776 billion in 2005.

The profit before deduction of interests and taxes (EBIT) without taking into account lumpsum clauses of balance has made 590 million euro against 531 million in the last year.

The net profit without taking into account lumpsum clauses of the balance has made 385 million euro against 335 million in 2005.
