OREANDA-NEWS. Kotlas Pulp and Paper Mill, a subsidiary of forest industry corporation Ilim Pulp, has completed its first audit of professional security and occupational safety management system compliance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001:1999 international standards.

While carrying out the audit, Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) expert auditors visited a number of services, shops and production units, interviewed the mill’s specialists, analyzed the document base and visited the staff of the mill at their workplaces.

Georgy Petrov, BVC senior auditor says the system is in full compliance with the international standards and functions well.

The next audit of professional security and occupational safety management system compliance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001:1999 international standards will be carried out next year.
