OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation (UTair Aviation, JSC) is set to hold a closed competitive tender to choose a company that would implement an ERP solution provided by SAP AG. The airline has invited potential tender participants and set forth its requirements for the ERP configuration and the partner company to run the implementation.

SAP AG is a vendor of package software solutions covering all spheres of financial and administrative accounting, human resources management, operation, and corporate maintenance services, coupled with powerful analytical instruments.

As reported earlier, UTair proposes to adopt an Enterprise Resource Planning information system, as well as special systems for maintenance and repair, operating control and a number of other spheres in the near term.

The decision to integrate the ERP solution was prompted by a 46-percent rise in UTair’s revenue in 2006, growth of passenger operations and expansion of the airline’s destinations, as well as the necessity to meet generally accepted international standards.
