OREANDA-NEWS. The OJSC Mosenergo General Director A.Ya. Kopsov, Board Chairman and Alstom President Patrick Crone, and the General Director of the OJSC EMAlians O.P. Golikov have signed the General Contractor Agreement for building gas-steam power generation unit at the OJSC Mosenergo-owned Thermal Power Plant 26.

The subject of the agreement includes building a modern turnkey gas-steam power generation unit in Russia by a major foreign company.

The cost of work under the agreement will amount to approximately 300 million euros, and the construction is due to be completed in 29 months. The power generation unit is scheduled for commissioning in 2009.

The construction of the Gas-Steam Unit 420 at TPP 26 is part of the Program to Develop and Technically Retrofit OJSC Mosenergo.
