OREANDA-NEWS. 11-month inflation in Russia as of December 11 stood at 8.5 percent, the Interfax news agency quotes Vice Premier Aleksandr Zhukov as saying.

”For the first time inflation in Russia will be lower than 10 percent, somewhere about 9 percent,” A. Zhukov declared during the government question time in parliament.

The official recalled that inflation was 10.4 percent as of December 11, 2005.
