OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Gorki Automobile Factory” (GAZ, part of the Group “GAZ”) and its subsidiaries have sold 91,299 thousand passenger commercial vehicles in the Russian Federation in January-September 2006 that exceeded analogous parameters of 2005 by 18 %.

Realization of light commercial cars to the CIS countries and overseas has grown by 15,5 % - up to 25,494 thousand.

At the same time, sales of vehicles in the Russian Federation has decreased by 6,2 % to 33,717 thousand, to the CIS countries and overseas – by 19,5 % - up to 4,913 thousand, sales of lorries in the Russian Federation increased by 16 % - up to 13,725 thousand, to the CIS countries and overseas - by 8,4 % - up to 4,561 thousand.

Sales of buses of big and especially big class in the Russian Federation has grown by 17,7 % - up to 2,084 thousand, in the CIS countries and overseas - by 21 % up to 63 pieces, realization of buses of small class increased by 10 % and by 18,3 % accordingly, middle class – by 33 % and by 79 % accordingly.
