OREANDA-NEWS. The capital of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation (Sberbank) for October 31, 2006 under the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) has made 333,7 billion roubles.

The net profit of the Savings Bank for January-October 2006 increased by 28,3 % - up to 72,9 billion roubles in comparison with analogous period of 2005  (against 56,8 billion roubles for October 31 2005).

The credit portfolio of the bank for November 1, 2006 made 2 428,2 billion roubles. At the same time, the volume of crediting of legal individuals made 1 trillion 690.2 billion roubles, the balance of means on accounts of physical individuals - 1 trillion 848,9 billion roubles.

Share of the Savings Bank in the general balance of deposits of physical individuals in all commercial banks for September 1, 2006: rouble-denominated - 56,7 %, foreign currency - 42,2 %. The balance of means of legal individuals for November 1 - 757,4 billion roubles.
