OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Headquarters has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Paolo Scaroni, Chief Executive Officer of ENI Company.

The parties examined issues on further cooperation development in the oil and gas sector paying special attention to the progress of the Agreement of strategic cooperation between Gazprom and ENI signed on November 14, 2006.

Alexey Miller and Paolo Scaroni discussed opportunities for Gazprom to acquire ENI gas production and transportation assets in exchange for ENI participation in Gazprom’s gas production assets.
