OREANDA-NEWS. Byisk (the Altai Kray) hosted the ceremony dedicated to commissioning of the Barnaul-Biysk section of the Barnaul-Biysk-Gorno-Altaisk gas main with branch pipeline to Belokurikha and providing gas supply to Byisk.

Construction of the Barnaul-Biysk-Gorno-Altaisk gas main with branch pipeline to Belokurikha started in 2000. The Barnaul-Kasikha, Kasikha-Troitskoye, Troitskoye-Byisk sections were constructed in 2004, 2005, 2006, respectively.

The total length of the Barnaul-Byisk pipeline is nearly 150 km.
