OREANDA-NEWS. On November 30, 2006, Vneshtorgbank (VTB) and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation have concluded the Cooperation Agreement on the priority national project “Development of the Agro Industrial Complex”.

The agreement is aimed at development of cooperation within the frameworks of realization of the priority national projects on such directions as financing of construction and modernization of cattle-breeding complexes, crediting of purchases of breeding cattle, techniques and equipment for animal industries, participation in financing of projects and programs on development of industrial and social infrastructure of agriculture.

According to conditions of the Agreement, VTB will promote development of the priority national project in regions of the Russian Federation with use of a branch network of the VTB Group.
