OREANDA-NEWS. Within the framework of the priority national program "Education" and implementation of the state project "Provision of the Internet access to educational institutions of the Russian Federation" the Northern Ossetian branch of "UTK" PJSC connected 101 schools of the Republic to the Internet.

By the end of the year the branch plans to provide Internet access to 149 schools and to 61 schools more in 2007.

Schoolchildren in high-mountain village Verkhniy Fiagdon of the Alagirsky region have already been provided with access to the global network. Soon Buronskaya and Mizurskaya schools in the same region will be connected to the Internet.
