OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Headquarters have hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Zinaida Greceanii, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova. The parties discussed the terms of Russian gas deliveries to Moldova in 2007 and debt payment issues for the gas delivered.

In 2006 the volume of Russian gas supply to Moldova is expected to reach nearly 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas.

Moldova’s indebtedness for gas delivered with penalty provisions is at nearly $ 1.4 billion. From the second half of 2006 Russian gas will be supplied to Moldova at the price of $ 160 for 1,000 cubic meters.
