OREANDA-NEWS. Russian mining-metallurgical company "Norilsk Nickel" has become interested in a silver deposit in the north of Tajikistan.

The company is going to be engaged independently in development of a deposit under the name "Big Koni Mansur", and has expressed readiness to invest huge means in this business.

According to the Ministry of Industry, the deposit "Big Koni Mansur" is unique on the stocks of silver – over 50 thousand tons, and takes the fourth place in the world, news agency REGNUM reported.
