OREANDA-NEWS. Transmashholding has delivered six NP1 industrial traction units manufactured by Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant to the largest Russian mining-and-processing works within the first ten months of 2006.

The NP1 industrial traction units have been delivered to JSC Karelian Pellet (Karelsky Okatysh), Kachkanarsky and Stoylensky mining-and-processing works to become operational with quarry railways.

Since 2004, Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant has produced the total of 17 NP1 industrial traction units, six of them manufactured within the first ten months of 2006. Under the production plan the plant is to produce another two NP1 units this year.
