OREANDA-NEWS. The Gazprom Headquarters has hosted a meeting dedicated to the gasification of the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Moderated by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, the meeting was attended by top managers from Mezhregiongaz, Promgaz, Regiongazholding, core business units of Gazprom.

The meeting emphasized that Gazprom had mostly constructed the high pressure gas pipeline and its extension to the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome as well as low pressure grids.

The parties decided that Gazprom together with the authorities of the Arkhangelsk Oblast should intensify activities aimed at preparing consumers for gas deliveries in November of this year.

The high pressure gas pipeline to the town of Mirny, settlement of Plesetsk and Plesetsk Cosmodrome will have a total length and capacity of over 370 km and 3.3 bcm/y, respectively. The pipeline is part of the high pressure gas pipeline project for the cities of Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk.
