OREANDA-NEWS. The vice-president of the Board of OJSC “Gazprom” Alexander Ananenkov and the first vice-president of the Government of Republic Sakha (Yakutia) Gennady Alekseev during their meeting in Moscow have considered issues on interaction of the parties within the frameworks of the Cooperation agreement between Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and OJSC “Gazprom”.

Also, the exchange of opinions on the project of the Program of creation of the uniform system of gas extraction, transportation and supply in Eastern Siberia and in the Far East in view of possible export of gas on the markets of China and other countries of Asia-Pacific region  took place.

To the republic of Sakha (Yakutia), possessing significant stocks of oil and gas, is given the important place in the Program now being finished due to the initiative of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation. At the same time, deposits of natural gas of Yakutia are called to become one of base consumers for gas supply.
