OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Directors of OAO "TGC-2" approved the appointment of Andrey Vagner as Director General of the Company. Before that, the appointment of Andrey Vagner had been approved by the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia".

Before his appointment as Director General of OAO "TGC-2", Andrey Vagner had served as Deputy Executive Director of Business Unit No. 2, and before that he had been in charge of the Company's Power Plants Department.

OAO "TGC-2" was registered on 19 April 2005 in the city of Yaroslavl. The company comprises generation companies located in six regions – the Arkhangelsk Region, Vologda Region, Kostroma Region, Novgorod Region, Tver Region, and Yaroslavl Region. TGC-2 has been carrying out operations since 1 July 2006.
