OREANDA-NEWS. The town of Nadym has hosted an onsite meeting dedicated to the construction of crucial supporting facilities at the Bovanenkovo oil and gas condensate field and development of a gas transmission system. The meeting was moderated by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

Opening the meeting, Alexander Ananenkov noted that the Bovanenkovo field was a key element of the United Gas Transmission System development up to 2030 process. Over the said period projected production rates will be maintained through field development on the Yamal Peninsula, in the Barents Sea offshore, Ob and Taz Bays, Eastern Siberia and the Far East.

A. Ananenkov stressed that developing the Bovanenkovo and Shtokman fields was a priority for Gazprom.

The meeting decided that while the Bovanenkovo field pre-development customer and operator would be Nadymgazprom, the gas transmission system construction customer and operator would be Yamalgazinvest and Severgazprom, respectively.
