OREANDA-NEWS.  OJSC "Aeroflot" has summed up results of its work within September and nine months of 2006. Within nine months of 2006 Aeroflot has carried 5.529.000 passengers and 104,5 thousand tons of mail and cargoes, 16 bln 900 mln passenger-kilometers and 2 bln 159 mln ton-kilometers have been implemented.

The rate of the occupied passenger seats has made 71,4%, the rate of payload revenue – 58,3%, that is more by 1,8% and 0,5% correspondingly, as compared with last year.

As compared with last year, the operation volume within nine months has increased, except for mail and cargoes transportation, and made: in terms of passenger carriage – 106,5% (+ 338,1 thousand passengers), in terms of passengers turnover – 105,0% (+ 807,1 mln passenger-kilometers), in terms of ton-kilometers – 104,1% (+ 84,4 mln ton-kilometers), in terms mail traffic – 95,6% (- 146,2 tons), in terms of cargo transportation – 98,1% (- 1943,5 tons).

Time in the air by the level of 2005 has increased by 3,3% on passenger aircrafts and reduced by 1,7% on cargo aircrafts. The total time in the air has grown by 3,0% (+ 5934 hours).
