OREANDA-NEWS. The Savings Bank of Russia (Sberbank) has declared increase in the net profit in the third quarter by 35,4 %.

Value of the net profit for the second quarter 2006 made 18 958 894 thousand roubles, and has made 25 672 426 thousand roubles for the third quarter of 2006. The increase has made 6 713 532 thousand roubles or 35,4 %.

Major factors of growth of the net profit was systematic development of business and increase in incomes of the basic kinds of activity - operations of crediting of corporate and private clients, operations with securities, and also growth of commission incomes. Besides, dynamics of this parameter was affected with non-uniformity of incomes under the state bonds entering in a portfolio of securities of the bank.
