OREANDA-NEWS. The competitive commission has selected seven regions-applicants on creation of special economic zones of tourism-recreational type, but results of the competition will be announced not earlier than in ten days. RIA Novosti reported that Gherman Gref, Head of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia has informed about it on Monday. According to him, Krasnodar, Stavropol regions, republic of Buryatiya, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad regions, Altay territory and republic of Altai were selected. In a week the commission plans to study in details all the selected applications once again to consider detailed presentation of all projects and to make the final decision only after that.

Gref has not excluded that all seven applications will be recognized as winners of competition as a result.
