OREANDA-NEWS. The Gazprom Headquarters today has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabr Al-Thani, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

The parties addressed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the gas sector, outlined promising joint businesses and agreed to continue business contacts.

The State of Qatar is the world’s third-largest country by natural gas reserves. The explored reserves account for 11.2 tcm, of which 90 per cent is concentrated in the North Field being the largest natural gas deposit in the world.
