OREANDA-NEWS. The volume of sales of products manufactured by the holding-integrated companies within the first 9 months of 2006 is 39 per cent higher than that of the corresponding period last year totaling 38.2 billion roubles (VAT exclusive).

The January and September of 2006, e.g., saw the increase of sales in the following produce (compared with the corresponding period of 2005): main line electric locomotives (129 units) for 84 per cent; industrial electric locomotives (5 units) for 25per cent; diesel locomotives (133 units) for 35.6 per cent; electric train cars (403 units) for up to 56 per cent; metro cars (144 units) for 21per cent; passenger cars (599 units) for up to 16 per cent; freight cars of various purpose (1402 units) for 30 per cent.
