OREANDA-NEWS. The program of reuse of equipment and materials is being implemented at OJSC “Surgutneftegaz” for more than five years. The general economic benefit of realization of the program in 2005 has made 1 485 million roubles.

As a result of a reuse the need for the new equipment and materials on deposits of the company is reduced. In particular, if in 2002 counting upon one well of operational fund, 17 new bars and on the average 2,42 pump-compressor pipes were required, in 2005 5 bars and 1,88 pipes accordingly.

Volumes of reuse of these materials for the last year have made: 522,3 thousand pieces of bars, 735,2 thousand pieces of pipes.

In 2005, the factory worth more than $5 million, which will allow to crush tyres in crumb and to use it in mixes for asphalting roads, has been bought. This summer the factory will be started in trial operation.
