OREANDA-NEWS. The delegation of OJSC “Gazprom” headed by the vice-president of the Board Alexander Medvedev made a visit to Japan. Within the frameworks of the visit meetings with representatives of business circles of Japan were held.

In particular, negotiations with the General Director of the Agency of natural resources of Japan Kharufumi Mochizuki, management of the companies Tokyo Gas, Tokyo Electric, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui Corporation, Сhiyoda Сorporation, Chubu Electric, and also bank of the international cooperation (JBIC) were held.

The parties have discussed the whole spectrum of the issues of mutual interest. In particular, it was a question of development of bilateral cooperation within the frameworks of transactions on LNG exchange, an opportunity of interaction in the third countries, prospects of cooperation under large infrastructural projects of “Gazprom”.

At a meeting with Tokyo Gas the decision to sign the frame agreement for realization of transactions with LNG in the near future was accepted.
