OREANDA-NEWS. The Gazprom Regional Policy Commission has convened on a session chaired by Alexander Ryazanov, Commission’s Head and Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

The Commission heard a report on Gazprom, its subsidiaries and affiliates’ tasks in relation to the execution of promising projects in Eastern Siberia and the Far East. The session also discussed the Gasification Accord signed between Gazprom and the Irkutsk Oblast Administration. The participants underscored that higher activity in Eastern Siberia and the Far East was a crucial corporate business.

The Commission spoke in favor of faster development of the Program on UGTS expansion eastwards and the need to earmark sufficient gas resources for these purposes. The session also addressed and heard a report on the Volgotransgaz work experience with RF regional authorities while implementing the Gazprom regional policy conception.
