OREANDA-NEWS. Vnesheconombank signed an Agreement on Cooperation with the Kurgan Region Administration and CJSC Tobolenergo on modernizing electric public utility systems.

Under the Agreement the two sides are determined to modernize electric public utility systems, streamline and optimize fuel supplies to meet the needs of residential users, government-financed organizations and heat-supplying companies.

The Agreement to be implemented on the basis of public-private partnership provides for a number of measures to reduce costs of supplying residential users and other consumers as well as to upgrade the fuel- energy resources and public utilities payment system in order to bring it in line with economically substantiated prices and tariffs.
