OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has today assigned Alfa MTN Issuance Limited's USD400 million 7.875% notes issue due October 2009 a Long-term 'BB-' (BB minus) rating.

The proceeds from the issue will be on-lent to Alfa-Bank, rated Issuer Default 'BB-' (BB minus)/Outlook Stable, Short-term 'B', Support '4', Individual 'C/D', and National Long-term 'A+(rus)'/Outlook Stable.

The issue is made under the USD1 billion euro medium-term note programme (rated Long-term 'BB-' (BB minus) for notes with maturities in excess of one year and Short-term 'B' for notes with maturities of less than one year).
