OREANDA-NEWS. By the market volume of passenger cars with mileage for eight months of 2016 the first place among Russian regions (except Moscow and Moscow region) was occupied by Krasnodar region. Such conclusion was made by experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency during the analyzing of the available data on regional markets.

Thus, in January - August of this year, secondary car market in Krasnodar region was 152.1 thousand units, an increase of 6.9%. It corresponds to a share of 4.5% of Russian total volume. With these figures the region could even overtake St Petersburg: with a volume of 123.9 thousand units and the market share of 3.7% and the northern capital ranks only the fourth place of nationwide ranking.

At in the fifth place there is the Rostov region, whose inhabitants have bought during this period 100.4 thousand second-hand cars (+ 7.7%). The next is the Sverdlovsk region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk, and Novosibirsk regions. Republic of Tatarstan closes the top ten.

Analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted that the majority of Russian regions by the results of 8 months showed a positive trend of the secondary market. At the same time the highest growth was recorded in the market of Udmurtia (+ 22.7%). The only region from the top-50, which shows a negative trend (-4.3%) – was Dagestan.
