OREANDA-NEWS. The company Skoda Auto Russia expands the color gamut of a compact liftback Rapid. From now on, the best-selling brand is offered for Russian customers in new expressive colors: yellow Savannah, orange Copper Orange and rich red Tornado Red. In November of this year, the line will be joined by the shade green Rallye Green.

Skoda Rapid is produced at the plant "Volkswagen Group Rus" in Kaluga. In 2016, the model is one of the key drivers of the Russian sales of the brand, by providing the continuous growth since March of this year.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in August the Russian dealers of Skoda cars have sold 4570 cars - more by 6% than the year before. Thus, the Czech brand demonstrates positive dynamics the sixth month in a row. At the end of eight months of 2016 Skoda sales in the Russian market were 36,130 vehicles, which is less by 1.1% than in the same period of the last year. Best-selling brand is a compact liftback Rapid, sales of which grew by 7.5% to 16845 units.
