OREANDA-NEWS. Today, it is exported 12% of total volume of produced in Russia Renault cars. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed about it in the press service of Renault, by noting that exports – is one of the key directions of Renault business development in Russia.

Recall that now Renault cars of Russian production are delivered to CIS countries: Kazakhstan and Belarus (from 2010) and also Kyrgyzstan (2016). In February of this year there were began regular exports to Vietnam, and the company plans the further expanding of the geography of exports to foreign countries.

Meanwhile, there was a general decrease of export sales of the brand in Kazakhstan for 8 months of 2016 together with the general decline of Kazakhstan market. In Belarus, it was continued the increase of supply - for 8 months of 2016 by 31% to 5842 cars. As a result, the Renault brand strengthened its position in the Belarusian market, which kept the stability.

It should be also noted that in 2016 in Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgystan there were started deliveries of the new crossover Renault Kaptur, the production of which began at the plant in Moscow in the spring of 2016.

The company plans the further expanding of export geography in the country and abroad. Among the CIS countries they are Armenia and Azerbaijan, where it will be soon established the delivery of Renault Kaptur. With regard to foreign countries, it is early to say about specific plans, stated in the Renault press office.
