BAUER AG: Changes in the Management Board
OREANDA-NEWS. In its most recent meeting, the Supervisory Board of the international construction and machinery manufacturing concern appointed a new member of the Management Board of BAUER Aktiengesellschaft, Peter Hingott. He will take up his work on October 1 and will primarily be responsible for Group accounting, Group-wide purchasing and human resources.
"I am really looking forward to my new role. Moving from operative business to the Management Board represents a new challenge where the right balance has to be struck between strategic leadership and operative management," says Peter Hingott. "I see this as a great opportunity to play my part in leading the Group to a successful future."
Peter Hingott, who studied construction management, started his career at the Group in 2006 as commercial manager of BAUER Umwelt GmbH, where he was managing director from 2007 to 2013. Heinz Kaltenecker, who has been at Bauer for 38 years in total, the last six of which was spent exclusively on the Management Board of BAUER AG, is retiring at the end of the year. "It was an unbelievably exciting time full of variety and changes," says Kaltenecker, who has been responsible for participations, IT, human resources, safety and environment, and quality, risk and process management. Some of his tasks will be assumed by Peter Hingott. Toward the end of the year, the final responsibilities and tasks will be determined.
