OREANDA-NEWS. Today the assembly line of Continental tire plant in Kaluga has produced the 5th million tire from the date of the official opening of the company in October 2013. Thus, this result was achieved in less than 3 years. The Company increased production by 43% in compare with the same period a year ago. By the end of 2016 the plant plans to produce 3 million tires to exceed the result of 2015 by 50%, as press service of Continental informed. At present plant starts operating at full production capacity. Product portfolio of enterprise has over 280 tires.

Today the enterprise starts to supply these tire lineups from Kaluga to the local aftermarket, aftermarkets of Finland, Norway, Sweden, Kazakhstan and other countries with hard winter environmental. Plant in Kaluga continues to develop the export. In 2016 the quantity of countries, where German tires, produced in Russia, are exported, increased up to 22. The plant starts to supply the tires from Kaluga to Canada and China.
