2 September 2016 the JV “Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus” and Minpromtorg RF signed special investment contract

OREANDA-NEWS.  2 September 2016 the JV “Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus” and Minpromtorg RF signed special investment contract about construction of engine production on the base of plant in Vladivostok.

As press service Sollers informed, under the signed contract Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus assumes obligations to construct the new manufacturing facilities to produce 50,000 engines per year. 2 billion roubles will be invested in the project. It is planned to start the mass production of Mazda SkyActiv-G engines in 2018. Particularly, the project includes localization of some manufacturing operations to complete base components of engines. Also the Company will set up production of renewed versions of Mazda6 and Mazda CX-5.
