OREANDA-NEWS. The plans of AvtoVAZ doesn’t include the production of hatchback LADA Vesta. The president Nicolas Moore said about it at the Moscow Motor Show.

As the "Auto Review" noted, the auto giant's management believes that most of the demand for this model is able to meet the estate car LADA Vesta, which now tops the waiting list for serial production. Then it will appear the version of "Estate car Cross" and after it "sedan Cross".

Recall that before the top managers of AvtoVAZ voiced several other plans. So, the media in the spring of 2015 showed even the concept of future hatchback, however, they forbade to photograph it. Later in the press it was leaked other information about the new version of the body. In particular, it was reported that the hatchback will be 150 mm shorter than the sedan due to the reduced rear overhang.
