Nissan Reports August Canadian Sales
OREANDA-NEWS. Nissan Group today announced monthly Canadian sales of 11,508 units, a decrease of 2.8 per cent over last year. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 5.8 per cent.

Nissan brand sales decreased 3.1 per cent with 10,521 units sold, up 5.7 per cent calendar year-to-date, while Infiniti brand sales increased 0.1 per cent with 987 units sold, up 6.7 per cent calendar year-to-date, setting a new August sales record.
Nissan Division August highlights:
- Nissan LEAF fully-electric car set an all-time sales record in August with 170 units sold, an increase of 37.1 per cent. This marks six months of consecutive sales growth for the Nissan LEAF.
- Nissan Rogue crossover set a new August sales record at 3,730 units sold, an increase of 2.7 per cent.
- Nissan Murano crossover set an August sales record increasing 42.5 per cent to 1,203 units.
- Nissan JUKE sport crossover set an August sales record with 434 units sold, an increase of 18.3 per cent.
- NV200 compact cargo van sales increased 18.4 per cent to 103 units, an August sales record.
Infiniti August highlights:
- Infiniti reported sales of 987, an increase of 0.1 per cent versus a year earlier and an August sales record.
- The QX60 luxury crossover continues to be the most popular vehicle in the line-up with 393 units sold, an August record.
- The Infiniti QX80 full-size luxury SUV set an August sales records with 82 units sold, marking 12 months of consecutive sales growth.
- The first batch of Infiniti QX30 premium active crossovers have landed in Canadian showrooms, and will fully launch in September.
