OREANDA-NEWS. In the I half of 2016 the revenue of Group "Sollers" was 13.4 billion rubles against 15.7 billion rubles a year before. The EBITDA for the period was 1.46 billion rubles (1.79 billion rubles in the I half of 2015), profitability on EBITDA - 10,8%, informed the press service of "Sollers".

With the growth of the operating profit of Group by 6% to 1.3 billion Rubles, the net profit fell from 938 mln. Rubles in the I half of 2015 to 34 mln. rubles in the reporting period.

Decrease in profit is first of all due to a reassessment of the currency of a financial instrument (a call option right to sell the share in the joint venture Ford Sollers) in connection with the strengthening of the ruble in the I half of 2016.

At the same time against the background of overall decline in sales in the Russian market, "Sollers" Group managed to increase its market share, in particular by brand UAZ the total market share grew to 3.2% vs. 2.5% a year before.
