OREANDA-NEWS. Within the framework of the Moscow International Motor Show the presentation of exclusive concept of urban transport systems using unmanned buses took place.

The project was called "Shuttle" (from the English «space shuttle»). At the heart of promising idea - start into urban avenues several 12-seater buses, with the usage of unmanned traffic control system, informed the press service of KAMAZ. Independent transport is considered as an alternative for the traditional multi-seat buses under driver control and the strictly approved routes.

The consolidated team of "NAMI" and KAMAZ works under the project, with the involvement of the company Yandex, responsible for infrastructure. Thus, KAMAZ is the main industrial partner of the project and it determines the marketing strategy of the launch of product to market. The company has already presented for a public the prototype robot car, which is tested successfully today. In addition, the project demanded a great experience of Chelny auto giant in the production of buses.

According to the concept of the "Shuttle", the path of movement of the unmanned vehicle is routed in real-time, adaptive, depending on the actual needs of passengers in transportation.
