OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", as of July 1st, 2016 the parc of passenger cars in Russia had 41.08 million units. At the same time 40% of this amount is concentrated at only 10 subjects of the Russian Federation, in which the number is 16.44 million shares.

The largest parc in the country is belonged to Moscow (3.80 million units) and the Moscow region (2.54 million units), which in total has more than 15% of Russia's parc of cars. The leader among non-capital regions is the Krasnodar region (1.68 million units), which occupied the third place in the overall standings, and it even ahead of St. Petersburg (1,650,000 units). The top-five is closed by Rostov region (1.24 million units).
