OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey of average prices for new cars in Russia for the first seven months of 2016. This study included 35 best-selling brands, therewith, the weighted average price by each brand was calculated based on the average values of the recommended prices by the distributor and sales of each model (without breakdown on the modification).

According to a study, in January - July of this year, the weighted average price of new passenger car in Russia was 1 million 356 thousand rubles, which is more by 18% than in the same period of 2015 (1 million 149 thousand rubles).

The price of Land Rover car rose most of all, the weighted average price of which grew by 44%, which is explained by the appearance in the market of more expensive models.
