OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of new cars in Moscow at the end of July 2016 and it made a rating of the most popular models.

According to the research, the leadership in the capital market for the fourth month in a row is held by KIA Rio, whose figure was 1192 cars in July – by 33% higher than the year-ago result. In the second place there is a so-platform Hyundai Solaris with 1163 units (-12%). The third position is occupied by Volkswagen Polo with 836 cars (+ 27%).

The fourth place of ranking is occupied by Skoda Octavia (667 units; + 2%), and the top-five is closed by Toyota Camry (549 units; + 6%). The top-10 of the Moscow market also included in the last month: Ford Focus (479 units; + 88,5%), Skoda Rapid (455 units; + 48,5%), Nissan X-Trail (375 units; - 13%), Renault Duster (298 units; -3.5%) and Nissan Qashqai (285 units; + 66.5%).

We also note that the market volume of new cars in Moscow at the end of July 2016 was 16.4 thousand units, which is less by 11% than a year ago.
