OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of new cars by the end of July of 2016 and it made a rating of the most popular SUVs and crossovers in Moscow.

According to the study, in the SUV segment of the capital market in July it was replaced the leader. Now it is a crossover Nissan X-Trail, which sold 375 cars – less by 13% than the year-ago result. In turn, the former leader - Renault Duster - dropped to the second place with 298 units, which is less by 3.5% than a year before. The third place is occupied by Nissan Qashqai with 285 sold units (+ 67%).

The top-five of leaders among the top-selling SUVs and crossovers in the capital is closed by Mazda CX-5 (274 units; -6%) and Toyota RAV4 (267 units; -40.5%). The TOP-10 of Moscow SUV market in July also included: KIA Sportage (232 units; + 6,5%), Hyundai Tucson (193 units), Mercedes-Benz GL-Klasse (191 units; + 47%), Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (162 units; -19%) and Mitsubishi Outlander (161 units; -40.5%).
